In case a passenger does not receive his or her baggage after arrival, these are the actions to be taken:
turn to the respective airline's representatives at the airport and file a claim - Property Irregularity Report, stating that your baggage is missing
save the report number (PIR), as it will help you identify your delayed/lost baggage. Using it, you can track progress on your claim.
save all receipts for necessity purchases such as clothing, hygiene products etc.
claim expenses on necessity purchases: there is a strict period of time within which it can be done. Address the respective airline and either send the request via e-mail or file a claim on their website.
upon receipt of your baggage, check if it has not been damaged. Otherwise, immediately report the damage at the airport.
!!! NOTE: If your baggage is delayed or lost, first and foremost file a claim at the airport.
