How to manage notifications in C Teleport
What is the notification manager?
The notification manager lets you control how booking notifications are sent in C Teleport.
From one place, you can decide:
- Which notifications are sent
- Who receives them (Booker, Traveller, Approver, or custom email addresses)
- What documents are included (tickets, vouchers, etc)
This helps ensure the right people always receive the right information — without manual follow-ups.
Why would I use the notification manager?
Use the notification manager to:
- Avoid missed booking updates
- Reduce manual communication
- Customise notifications to match your internal processes
- Control who receives booking information across your organisation
Who can manage notifications?
Only Admin users can manage notification settings.
Who receives these notifications?
Notifications can be sent to different roles:
- Booker – the user who creates the booking
- Approver – the person who approves or rejects booking requests
- Traveller – the person who is travelling
You can also add custom email addresses (for example, shared inboxes or operations teams).
How do I turn notifications on or off?
- Go to Notification Manager in Admin
- Select the notification you want to change
- Click Edit
- Turn the notification on or off
- Click Save
Changes apply immediately.
How do I change who receives a notification?
- Open the notification you want to update
- Click Edit
- Update the To / CC / BCC email addresses
- Click Save
All future notifications for that event will go to the updated recipients.
What documents can be attached to emails?
Depending on the booking type, notifications can include:
Flights
- e-tickets
- Letter of Guarantee (if applicable)
Hotels
- Hotel vouchers
You can choose whether attachments are included or not.
Can I test notifications before enabling them?
Yes. You can send a test email to:
- Check that emails are delivered correctly
- Make sure they don’t end up in spam
- Review the email layout
Test emails do not contain real booking data or documents.
When are notifications sent?
Notifications are sent automatically when actions happen in the system, such as:
- A booking is created or cancelled
- A booking is approved or rejected
You don’t need to trigger them manually.
Can notifications be customised per company or tenant?
Yes. Notification settings are managed per organisation. Multi-tenant companies can also manage notifications per tenant.
